Loved my good stay for holidays. The location was stunning, not very far from Historic Charleston City Market. Plus, it was close enough to most restaurants and restaurant choices and location and downtown. The staff were helpful and check-in was early.

Exceptional and perfectly clean hotel with highly trained staff who provide exceptional service. Very clean bed and prime location away from pretty much everything. And just off the famous market as well as stores and wonderful restaurants. Top-notch deluxe room with artworks.

The staff was very nice.
The staff woke me on my 1st morning to check if I wanted my room cleaned. I have never had anyone knock on door before 11a. and they were going up and down the halls each morning between 8/9a.M.. I heard several guest ask why so early so I know I was not the only guest that that was suriprised and wanted to sleep in. I understand that some of the upper star hotels do not have coffee in the rooms but most offer coffee in the lounge. I think they could of had one or the other. Robes were like sand paper. I could of stayed at 3 star hotel and had just as nice room and stay.

Unbeatable location to an art museum. So many OUTSTANDING options for breakfast, such as cereal and pastries.
Unbelievably hot room.

great for strolls to city markets and parks nearby
I loved how close everything was, with the historic market just a few steps away and beautiful parks like White Point Garden only a short walk across the city. As a family traveler, I appreciated the friendly staff who made dining options like Charleston Grill and City Lights Coffee just around the corner good.

Service was courteous and prompt.
Although we booked a room in the club level, we were put into a lower class room without any options.

I used the pool area and went sightseeing downtown. I was there for a getaway because I spend all my other time as a caregiver for my elderly parents. The staff was so friendly and helpful. I felt safe traveling alone. I chose this hotel for its location to shopping, sightseeing, and restaurants. I would like to stay here again although I have stayed in more comfortable rooms in other hotels.
I wasn't pleased with being put at the end of the hall beside the icemaker room. I would have preferred more comfortable seating in the room. The tv didn't offer many stations and wasn't clear at times. The robes were rough feeling. It would be nice to have a stool or something to sit in the bathroom while drying my hair and applying makeup. I hope these suggestions help.
